Product packaging design of high-end Liaoning sea cucumber

Design concept:

​

Having been prized as a delicacy in China for decades, sea cucumber is commonly served in some major occasions, on account of which, the traditional sea cucumber packaging has always been stereotyped as austere and plain. Nevertheless, with a growing demand among a younger generation, we need a more bold and eclectic design to grip their attention. As such, I tried to exploit the Macaron color palette on the packaging design, specifically pastel blue and parrot pink. In addition, I designed different versions and sizes of the packages in order to provide more options for consumers to choose based on their needs.

Moreover, consider the targeting consumer are mainly women, I came up with a plan which made a set combine sea cucumber with red wine as both of them are good for women.
